About

Sophia Wu is an able-bodied Chinese-American woman, a recent college-graduate currently pondering her life possibilities outside of the traditional linear “path,” and a steadfast believer in striving to be part of the solution and not the problem, to any issue—primarily, the climate change issue. She can be found ogling at fresh produce at farmers’ markets, getting her tan on while picking up litter at the beach, catching up with her friends over coffee in the neighborhood, or soaking up the sunset with her partner.

the avenue is named after the avenues of San Francisco, where Sophia grew up. The pages of this blog echo the the experience of exploring the city and walking into every consecutive shop on a bustling street out of pure curiosity.
